the information that we hold about you by emailing us OR by logging in to Pierceit Shop and selecting
"My Account". If you find any inaccuracies we will delete
or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance
with our internal security policy and the law. We are registered (# Z708848X) as a Data Controller (Bright Banana/Pierceit Shop) under the Data Protection Act 1998. Why give your personal details to a company that isn't!
We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our
site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your
browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The
information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify
your browser settings.
Newsletter
Customers that have chosen to receive the Pierceit Shop newsletter have the
option of changing this in their account admin area (see above). The Newsletter
contains information of the latest offers and promotions from Pierceit Shop.
Credit/Debit Cards
Pierceit Shop does not take or store any customer credit/debit card details,
these a processed by a third party (Worldpay).
Secure
Pierceit Shop use SSL for payment (through Worldpay) and also when you log-in to amend or create your personal details. We have our own (not a shared) Certificate, which you can view the details of by clicking on the padlock icon in the bottom right of your browser, when in a secure area of Pierceit Shop.
